BOOK <br />WHEREAS, such delays could result in property damage, injuries, and loss of life during <br />a severe storm event. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: <br />That the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners requests the Florida <br />Department of Transportation to initiate and expedite the 6-laning of I-95 from Ft. Pierce to <br />Daytona Beach in order to improve evacuation time and enhance evacuation safety for <br />residents of east central Florida. <br />THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by A d a m s , and the <br />motion was seconded by G i nn , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was <br />as follows: <br />Chairman Kenneth R.
