r <br />BOOK ilk. FAUE344 <br />Ms. Renzi questioned where the developer's other projects are located, and <br />Commissioner Ginn stated that one is in Ft. Pierce and the other is in Orange County. <br />Ms. Renzi suggested that the Commissioners visit those projects. <br />The Chairman then asked if anyone else wished to be heard regarding this matter and, <br />hearing no response, closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Ginn then emphasized the impact of such a development on the <br />substantial increase in school population, increased usage of water, police, parks, public <br />buildings and libraries. <br />Director Baird inquired whether the Board wanted future bond applications to be <br />presented after the project has gone all the way through the planning process, and Chairman <br />Macht responded affirmatively. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and <br />the Motion passed by a 4-1 vote (Commissioner <br />Ginn opposed). (Adopted Resolution 99-122 <br />expressing the intent of the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida to <br />proceed in conjunction with the Florida Housing <br />Finance Corporation with the financing of a multi- <br />family residential rental housing project through the <br />issuance by Florida Housing Finance Corporation on <br />behalf of itself and Indian River County of its not-to- <br />exceed <br />ot to - <br />exceed $9,100,000 multi -family housing revenue <br />bonds for the benefit of Walker Avenue Club, Ltd, <br />a Florida limited partnership; approving the issuance <br />NOVEMBER 16, 1999 <br />5f -a <br />0 <br />
