ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board, <br />by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Adams absent) <br />unanimously approved the Agreement for the <br />Delivery of Reclaimed Water with The Links at <br />Pointe West, Limited Liability Company and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute same, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />13.A. CHAIRMAN KENNETH R. MRCHT - SCHOLARSHIP <br />STUDENT ART <br />(CLERK'S NOTE: THIS ITEM WAS PRESENTED PRIOR TO ITEM 5.A. BUT IS <br />RETAINED IN THIS SPACE FOR CONTINUITY.) <br />Chairman Macht commented that the Children's Services Advisory Committee helps <br />to finance an arts camp for at -risk children. Each year 2 or 3 children from each discipline <br />get a 9 -month privately fimded scholarship program. 2 of these scholarship recipients have <br />brought their art work to show the public. He then introduced the Executive Officer of the <br />Cultural Council, Kathleen Kye. <br />Kathleen Kye thanked the Board for their support and emphasized what wonderful <br />works have been accomplished in drama, sculpture, dance, and other arts.
