Hon. J. y. Yongue, deceased, in the sum of 42,000.00 with Royal indemnity Company, a <br />corporation as surety was approved. <br />The following resolution was introduced by commissioner Mudge, who moved its adoption <br />WBEREAS, at the time of the freezing of deposits of harmers Bank of Vero Beach, <br />there was on deposit therein to the credit of ri. V. Knott, as County Treasurer ex -officio <br />of Indian River Uounty, Florida, the sum of *6,,278.77, which said sum erose from tax <br />collections in said County for the interest and sinking funds of special tax -districts <br />therein; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, that this Board does hereby recommend to and requests the State Board <br />of Administration that in order to liquidate said frozen deposits that said Board of <br />Administration accept any bonds of any maturity of Indian River County, Florida, or its <br />special tax districts, in settlement and liquidation of the said deposit in the said Bank. <br />Upon being put to a vita the some was unanimously adopted. <br />Angus Sumner, State Attorney appeared before the Board and requested that supplies <br />If urnished Inspectors of darks and Brands of this County. No action was taken as it was <br />understood the owners of cattle would pay all expenses in connection with the appointment <br />of such inspectors. <br />T. M. Riles, Fellsmere, was ordered stricken from the pauper list as he is now em <br />I p loy ed by the FERA . <br />Commissioner Mudge introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, there is a balance in the Publicity :Fund of *632.75 and a balance in the <br />lAg ricultural Fund of §1.31, .funds under the control of this Board, and, <br />WFOH AS it appears that no items will be expended from either of said funds and no <br />I further bills will be approved for payment therefrom., <br />1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, that the said sum, of §632.75 now in the Publicity Fund and the said sum of $1.31 <br />now in the Agricultural Fund be transferred to the interest & Sinking Fund of the County <br />and the same be used for the purchase, on the m<orket, of liens of the County now out- <br />standing. bl'uch transfers to be made only upon the approval of same by the State Comp- <br />troller. <br />Upon being put to a vote the same was unanimously adopted. <br />W.
