(MULTI-AGENCYDRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT <br />DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITYAFFAIRS - PROJECT GENERATED <br />INCOME - BUDGET AMENDMENT #009 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 12, 2000: <br />TO: Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />DATE: April 12, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: M-A-C.E. GRANT (MULTI -AGENCY DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT) <br />PROJECT GENERATED INCOME <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT 009 <br />THROUGH: Joseph A. Baird <br />Assistant County strator <br />FROM: Jason E. Brown <br />Indian River County Sheriffs Department wants to apply to the state to use anti-drug abuse grant <br />M.A.C.E. Unit income in the amount of $6,271.18. The MAC.E. Unit income was generated <br />from confiscating property in drug related activities. The Sheriffs Department will use the <br />funds to purchase the items as shown in the attachment. <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the use of the funds for <br />equipment and authorize the Chairman to sign the Project Generated Income Agreement. <br />APRIL 18, 2000 <br />
