BOOK jjJ PAGE .L4`- <br />The design of Phase I Kings Highway Improvements from 12' Street to north of 26' Street <br />was completed in December 1997. At that time retainage was released on most of the <br />design elements for Phase I Improvements. There was no partial release on the hourly <br />contract elements for permitting and agricultural coordination. <br />The consultant, IGmley-Horn and Associates, inc. is requesting partial release of retainage <br />on the permitting and agricultural coordination for Phase I in the amount of $3,748.14. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Board authorize Amendment No. 10 in the amount of <br />$54,484.00. Funding is as follows: <br />Roadway Improvements $44,626.00 101-158-541-067.31 <br />Force Main Relocations $ 9,858.00 472-000-169-231.00 <br />Staff also recommends that the Board approve a partial release of retainage in the amount <br />of $3,748.14. Funding is from account 101-158-541-067.31. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously authorized Amendment No. 10 with <br />Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. in the amount of <br />$54,484 and partial release of retainage in the <br />amount of $32748.14, as recommended by staff. <br />APRIL 18, 2000 <br />AMENDMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-56- <br />
