DOYAND <br />STAFFED BY: <br />CAPITAL PROJAGER <br />SUBJECT: <br />DOMESTIC WASTEWATER UAL AGREEMENT <br />SUN LAKES ESTATES - WASTEWATER TREATWIENT FACILITY <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Owners of the Sun Lakes Estates located in Cocoa, Florida desire to utilize the Indian River County <br />Residuals Management Facility to dispose of residuals from the Facility's Wastewater Treatment Facility <br />(Package Plant). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The COUNTY operates and maintains a publicly owned Residuals Management Facility (Dewatering <br />Facility), Permit #FLA -010434-001, which is capable of treating its own residual and accepting domestic <br />wastewater residual fiom ourtude sources. The fimility has been given approval and is operating under Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permit in compliance with Florida Administrative Code (FAC), <br />Chapter 62-040, to property treat and dispose ofthe residuals into a Class I Lined Landfill. <br />The Sun Takes Estates shall maintain compliance with the permit conditions issued by the FDEP and the <br />specific conditions of the Indian River County Department of Utility Services for acceptance of residuals to the <br />IRC Residuals Management Facility. Upon arrival onsite for trament of residuals from the CUSTOMER'S <br />Plant, the COUNTY has the right to refirse treatment of said residuals, if it is demonstrated that the <br />chemicallphysical properties of the transported material is not consistent for dewatering. <br />May 2, 2000 <br />.0 <br />
