Generally there is not a problem, but sometimes <br />a "working title" is used for the agenda without the backup being submitted. Having <br />described the process fully, he went on to explain how providing a dollar amount might <br />create confusion or potential problems by using some examples. Staff is working toward <br />getting all the agenda backup on the County's web site, which will provide additional <br />information to the public. <br />Commissioner Tippin was concerned because the letter suggests that the average <br />taxpayer is not concerned with small amounts, but only with large dollar amounts. He <br />thought taxpayers should be concerned about how all the County's funds are used. He felt <br />this suggestion was not justification to get additional public interest. The information is <br />always available in the Administration Building and those who are concerned read it and <br />participate. <br />After hearing Administrator Chandler's explanation, Chairman Adams agreed <br />complying with the request would be very difficult to implement and could be very <br />misleading.
