VERO BEACH - TEMPORARY <br />WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of June 9, 2000: <br />DATE: JUNE 9, 2000 <br />TO: JAMES E. CHANDLER TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND <br />FROM: DONALD R. HUBBS, P.E. MINERVA HERRICK <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />PREPARED JAMES D. CHAST lI , <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER OF `S' ggMENT PROJECTS <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />Minerva Herrick has requested that a temporary water service be installed from the water line on 1- Stmt <br />S.W., to service her property at 3620 1- Street S.W., Vero Beach. Florida, prior to the installation of a water <br />main on 36' Court. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Agreement states that the Indian River County Department of Utility Services shall provide tetnporaty <br />watt service to Minerva Herrick, until such time that a water line may be constructed on 36* Court by <br />assessment. Ms. Herrick agrees to pay all fees required to make this connection. Ms. Herrick further agrees <br />to participation in the assessment, and to reconnect to this water line as required by the Indian River County <br />Department of Utility Services. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />attached Agreement with Minerva Herrick on the Consent Agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously approved the Temporary Water Service <br />Agreement with Minerva Herrick, as recommended <br />by staff. <br />JUNE 139 2000 <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-21- <br />BOOK PAGE 6 <br />• <br />
