MassLing <br />Executive Aide to the Board <br />For the past ten fiscal years, Indian River County has been allocated grant funds from the Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs (FDCA) to fund local anti-drug abuse programs. The Board has <br />funded the following programs the last two years: <br />The County received a letter dated March 13, 2000 from the FDCA stating that Indian River County had <br />been allocated $157,777 in federal grant funds for FY 2000/2001, to fund local anti-drug abuse <br />programs, the same amount as last year. The letter also requested that the Board serve as the co- <br />ordinating unit of government in applying for the funds. At the commission meeting on March 21, 2000 <br />the Board accepted the invitation to serve as the co-ordinating unit of government and named Kimberly <br />E.
