If a project cannot be implemented due to the <br />budget carts, then the money allocated for the project will be redistributed to other projects already listed. <br />The M.AC.E. Unit, Substance Abuse Council and PREVENT all receive their match from Indian River <br />County Board of County Commission funds since they are agencies of the County. <br />Teens Acting Responsibly Global Education Troupe (T.A.R.G.E.T.) has received the maximum forty- <br />eight (48) months funding allocation under this program and is not eligible for re-application. <br />Copies of the grant applications are on file in the County Commission office for review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Substance Abuse Council's <br />recommendations and authorize the Board chairman to sign the grant applications and other necessary <br />related documents for submittal to the state by the deadline of Thursday, June 15, 2000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously approved the Substance Abuse <br />Council's recommendations and authorized the <br />Chairman to sign the grant applications and other <br />necessary related documents for submittal to the <br />State by the deadline of June 15, 2000, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />COPIES OF APPLICATION ARE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />JUNE 139 2000 <br />
