I <br />600K hJ SAGE 7 u�31 / <br />Contingency services are included to facilitate pump and motor repairs, flow <br />meter improvements/ calibration, etc. as may be necessary while the well(s) are <br />out of service. These services will be authorized only as necessary by Utilities <br />staff, in writing. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners accept and approve the attached work authorization, <br />(Exhibit A), for engineering services for well system rehabilitation at South <br />County Water Treatment Plant to CDM, for the upper limit amount of $181,800. <br />Staff also recommends provisions for an upper limit amount of $25,000 on a <br />contingency basis for additional services, if necessary, upon formal written <br />approval by Utilities Staff. <br />Funding will come from 471-000-169-391.00. <br />DRH `jhd <br />Attachments (1 — Exhibit A) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously (4-0, Chairman <br />Adams absent) accepted and approved work authorization No. <br />13 with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc., for engineering services <br />for well system rehabilitation at South County Water Treatment <br />Plant for the upper limit amount of $181,800, and approved <br />provisions for an upper limit amount of $25,000 on a <br />contingency basis for additional services, if necessary, upon <br />formal written approval by Utilities' staff, as recommended in <br />the memorandum. <br />June 20, 2000 <br />WORK AUTHORIZATION IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />106 <br />
