June 20, 2000 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25' Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, June 20, 2000. Present were Fran B. Adams, Chairman; Caroline D. Ginn, Vice <br />Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht; Ruth Stanbridge; and John W. Tippin. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Terrence P. O'Brien, Acting County Attorney; <br />and Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. Chairman Adams had to leave the meeting just prior to <br />10 a.m. to go out of town on County business. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />2. 11WOCATION <br />Rev. Marilyn Rieger, Unity Church of Vero Beach, delivered the invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Commissioner Stanbridge led the Pledge to the Flag. <br />4.
