In response to Chairman Adams' inquiry, Ms. Magee advised that the appraisal they <br />had obtained was $82,000. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Macht to purchase <br />the parcel back from the Children's Home Society for the <br />amount of $25,000, plus interest of approximately $12,000 (for <br />the period the CHS held the property), plus any documented <br />costs incurred for the property. <br />County Attorney Bangel assumed that the "costs" meant any costs related to the <br />public purpose and not legally prohibited. <br />Assistant Administrator Baird recommended that only direct costs should be <br />reimbursed. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Macht to <br />include the limitations suggested by the County Attorney and <br />Assistant Administrator and that the matter be brought back to <br />the Commission for final approval. <br />MOTION WAS SECONDED BY Commissioner Tippin. <br />THE CHAHZMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. (4-0, Vice Chairman Ginn absent) <br />Deputy County Attorney Collins asked for a clarification on the procedure.
