B NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />'I COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the week of August <br />14 - 20, 2000, be designated as <br />SOCIAL SECURITY WEEK ' <br />In Indian River County, and the Board calls upon all citizens to celebrate this vital <br />federal program and to acknowledge the important role that Social Security has <br />played for the last 65 years. <br />Adopted this 151° day of August, 2000. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />IZ594--� <br />Fran B. Adams, Chairman <br />Steve Chandler thanked the Commissioners for the recognition. He advised of the <br />major impact of the Social Security Act in Indian River County and stated that approximately <br />341000 people in the county receive Social Security checks. <br />6.A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JULY 11, 2000 AND <br />CLARIFICATION OF NORTH COUNTY PARK MOTION AT THE <br />SAME MEETING <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of July 11, 2000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Ginn, the Board unanimously approved the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting of July 11, 2000, as written and <br />distributed. <br />August 15, 2000 <br />4 <br />BKi14PG539 <br />-I <br />
