State Aid Application/Agreement <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners applies each year to the <br />Division of Lbrary and Information Services for the annual State Aid grant. The <br />agreement is Part of the application which expedites the receipt of funds. The application <br />is financial information only and no matching funds are required <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners' signature is required on the two <br />original agreements (Attached). <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff respectfully requests that the Board authorize its Chairman to sign the <br />agreements and return to the Library Services Director to be forwarded to the <br />appropriate State Library staff <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Tippin, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Stanbridge absent) unanimously <br />approved the FY 2000-2001 State Aid to Libraries <br />Grant Application and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute same, as recommended by staff. <br />APPLICATION WILL BE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />WHEN EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />SEP 2000 <br />B�� 5 PG ER � 1 9 O <br />-28- <br />• 0 <br />
