Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: September 25, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Acquired Property <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of cancelling any delinquent or <br />current taxes which may exist on the following property acquired by the City of <br />Sebastian for the re -alignment of Barber Street <br />Right-of-way acquired from Nelson C. Hyatt and Marie Dolores Hyatt, his <br />wife, which property is fully described in that Warranty Deed recorded in <br />Official Record Book 1337, Pages 0788-0791, Public Records of Indian <br />River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk to <br />send a certified copy of same to the Tax Collector so that any delinquent or <br />current taxes can be cancelled. <br />October 3, 2000 <br />BK 1 15 PG 287 <br />
