TUESDAY* MARCH 5th 1935. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian ismer County, Florida, met at <br />the Court Douse in Vero Beach, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. Tuesday,, March 5th 1935, with the <br />f ollowing members 'of the Board present: J.J.P.Hamilton, Uhairman; Frank C . Vickers; <br />R. E. Mudge; E. P. Poole and Edwin &. Helseth. also present were Chas. A. Vitchell, <br />Attorney, Wm. Frick, Sheriff and Miles warrens Clerk. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting, with corrections, were read and approved. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Mudge and seconded by Commissioner Helseth that no bi <br />be approved for mileage or expense in attending any meeting unless first approved by the <br />So ard. <br />it was ordered that Kra. Lenora'Snell be placed on the pauper list to receive the <br />sum of §10.00 for the next two months. <br />it was moved, seconded and carried that the State Rood Deportment be requested to <br />place a stop sign on the old Dixie highwoy at the uslo road intersections. <br />The Mothers' Pension application of Hose Lee Black was received and carefully eon- <br />sidered, and it was unanimously agreed that she be not placed on the pension list at <br />time. <br />The Notary Public bond of Emory spencer Martin in the sum of 1¢500.00 with standard <br />Accident insurance Company, a corporations as surety was approved. <br />A petition was received signed by L.O.Baughma.n and 50 others requesting the line <br />dividing fresh and salt water in the zebaastian River be changed from the F.E.C.Fq bridge <br />as at present located, to wlpher or Gibson Springs. <br />it was moved by Commissioner Vickers and seconded by uommi ss loner Mudge that the <br />change be made and the State Game Conservator be advised, <br />If was ordered that all past due coupons from bonds of the Vero Bridge District be <br />purchased, as an investment, by this Board at 75je on the dollar. <br />The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner nudge, who. moved its <br />adoption: <br />RE B 0 L U T T 0 N. <br />WHERFAS9 the Board of Administration hos submitted certain proposals of firms and <br />corporations to sell to said Board of Administration certain bonds of the County of <br />Indian River, under the provisions of House Bill No. 300 acts of the 1933 Legislature, <br />viHEHEAB, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and considering the <br />amount of funds available and in the hands of said Board of ,administration, and taking <br />into considera lion the approximate value of said bonds, it is deemed advisable to pur- <br />chase certain of said bonds and obligations, to -wit: <br />One (1) St Lucie County ( Now Indian River County) Vero Bridge District <br />Bond, due July lot 1934, with no coupons attached, 'as designated <br />offering "C" at 90. <br />wHEMS, this Board has heretofore purchased all outstanding and unpaid coupons on <br />all bonds now outstanding at a price of seventy-five cents on the dollar, with surplus <br />funds in the maintenance fund of said Vero Bridge District, and therefore, no coupons <br />are now attached to said bond, it is requested said bond be purchased without any <br />matured unpaid coupons attached. <br />THEREFOIIE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of )Administration be requested to pu <br />the foregoing bond in accordance with the terms of the offering. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Vickers, and upon being <br />put <br />to a vote the deme was unanimously adopted. <br />D <br />1 <br />1 <br />I - <br />
