ehall be authorized to issue bonds in the sum of e200,000.00 for the purpose provided <br />in said Act of Legislature; that said election will be held in said portion of said <br />Felismere Cross State road District on the said date in Precinct No. 8 at Carrier Hall, <br />Fellsmere, Florida. In Precinct No. 2 at Town Hall in Sebastian, Florida, in Pre- <br />cinct No. 3 at office American Railway Express Company, in Wabasso, Florida; In Precinct <br />No. 1 at Florida East Coast Railway Depot in Roseland, Florida. <br />The officers appointed to hold said election shall be, in Precinct No. 8: George <br />Hughes; R J Dunnam; George F King, Inspectors. Dorthera Holmden, Clerk. <br />The officers appointed to hold said election Precinct No. 2 shall be: S A Park, <br />A. Foster, S A Braswell, Inspectors. P. P. Lawson, Clerk. <br />The officers appointed to hold said election in Precinct No. 3 shall be: T J Cail; <br />T H Sibley, A R Miller, Inspectors. Mrs J A Morgan, Clerk. <br />The officers appointed to hold said election in Precinct No. 1 shall be; W. W. Holtz <br />claw; N D Hammond; Dempsey Cain, Inspectors, T A Garring, Clerk. <br />Be it further resolved that the candidates for Commissioners of. Felismere Cross <br />State Road District may be any person qualified for such position under the laws of the <br />State of Florida said election to be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, <br />governing the calling and holding of said special election and the qualifications of <br />candidates therein. <br />Be it further resolved that the Clerk of this Board cause due notice of said elec- <br />tion to be published as required by law. <br />Dated the 4th day of August A D 1925. <br />BOARD OF COUTNNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY. <br />elk° By Miles Warren, Its Clerk. <br />The Board of County Commissioners then proceeded to Fort Pierce, Florida, to meet <br />in joint see$ien with the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida, for <br />the purpose of effecting a settlement between the two counties in accordance with the <br />Act of the Legislature of the 1925 session. <br />On motion duly made seconded and carried the following agreement was accepted, <br />approved, ratified and confirmed by both Boards of County Commissioners, to -wit: - <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this 4th day of August 1925, by and between the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, State of Florida, party of the first part and the <br />Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, State of Florida, party of the second <br />part, <br />SAS, an Act of the Legislature of the State of Florida, approved May 30, 1925, <br />entitled An Act providing for the Creation of Indian River County in the State of Flo- <br />rida, and for the organization and government thereof° provides among other things that <br />it shall be the duty of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County at as <br />early a date as may be possible to hold a conference with the County Commissioners of <br />St Lucie County, and agree with the said Board upon a plan or plans for the assumption <br />by Indian River County of its prorata share of the indebtedness of St Lucie County, <br />in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the State of Florida, based on <br />the assessed valuation of the property both real and personal, subject to taxation <br />within said counties; and that the Board shall also agree upon equitable division of the <br />surplus funds and personal or movable property on the day that said Act takes effect, <br />AND WAS the said Board of County Commissioners of said Counties have held a <br />conference provided by said Act and have agreed upon the following plan for the assump- <br />tion by Indian River County of its prorata share o' theindebtedness of St Lucie <br />
