County and also upon the following division of the surplus funds and personal or movable
<br />property situated in said counties on June 30, 1925, being the day said Act took effect.
<br />AND WI4AS, the County of Okeechobee was organized in the year 1917, taking part
<br />of the territory of St. Lucie County and said Okeechobee County assumed twenty-six per
<br />cent of the then existing indebtedness of St Lucie County, Florida, consisting of Bonds a
<br />and Time warrants, and in reaching t4is agreement due consideration has been given to that
<br />part of indebtedness of St. Lucie County, which has been previously assumed by Okeechobee
<br />County.
<br />AND r, 4 the Legislature of the State of Florida of the year 1925, has also
<br />provided for the creation and organization of Martin County which new County takes a
<br />portion of St Lucie County, and due consideration has been given to the effect of the
<br />creation of Partin County in reaching this agreement,
<br />AND WHEREAS it has been agreed by the two Counties to this agreement that the total
<br />assessed valuation of all taxable property both real and personal of the territory of
<br />St Lucie County, Indian River County and that portion of St. Lucie County to be included
<br />in Bartin County is $9,076,745.00 and the parties to this agreement have agreed that
<br />Indian River County has taxable property within its boundaries amounting to 43.4 per ce t
<br />of the said total assessed valuation.
<br />NOW, THIS AGR 1 EIET WITNESSETH: That out of the total surplus funds of St Lucie
<br />County, Florida, Indian River County is entitled to and shall receive the following
<br />amounts out of the following named funds of St Lucie County, Florida, which are under t•e
<br />control of the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida.

<br />The said Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida, hereby agree
<br />to pay over the above stated amounts out of said funds, to said Board of County Cosa-
<br />missioners of Indian River County, Florida, and said last mentioned Board hereby agrees
<br />to that the payment of said amounts shall be full satisfaction of all claims by the Boa
<br />of County Commissioners of Indian River County for any money out of the above named
<br />funds of St Lucie County.
<br />IT IS FURTHER MUTUALLY A - *10 that the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie
<br />County, Florida, will pay over to the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, 43.4 per cent of all moneys received after July kga 1925 by the first named
<br />Board derived from redemption of Tax Sale Certificates, which have been redeemed prior
<br />d.
