556 <br />It vas,_ ordered that the following named persons be placed on the pauper list to <br />receive the amount indicateds <br />Jessie fatee, aebastian, Ylorida...48.00 per month <br />Brooks negro 8/0 nuth Aoundtree.... 6.40 per month <br />it was ordered ;ars kart L. va,niele be placed on the pauper list to receive the . sum <br />16 .04 per .month .instead of 04.00 heretofore paid. <br />Commissioner nudge introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions <br />R M sy L C T 1 0 A z <br />w1ER3AS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, have on <br />deposit with Farmers Bank of Vero beach, Florida, certain moneys and accounts which are <br />frozen and° are -,not subject to check or withdrawal; and, <br />wHEMB, Emory R. Martin, as Conservator of said Farmers bank of Vero Beach, and on <br />behalf of said Bank, has offered to convey by good and sufficient warranty deed, free <br />clear of all incumbrances and liens, two apartment buildings located in Vero Beach, <br />Florida, and known as the Hampton Court apartments, in satisfaction and .liquidation of <br />frozen deposits and accounts of , the said ..hoard of County Commissioners; now, <br />DR IT RESOLVED that the hoard of County Commissioners of Indian River County,Flo <br />does herewith record itself as being favorable to the liquidation of said frozen accounts <br />and deposits that may be by it owned and within its full control by the acceptance of <br />conveyances of property to Indian River County, subject to the approval of the particular <br />property by said Board, and subject to the accounts exchanged therefor being fully within <br />the control of said Board; therefore, <br />BE IT FURTHER 1HESOLVED, that this hoard proceed to negotiate and deal with the said <br />Conservator of the Farmers Bank of Vero Beach upon the proposition hereinbefore outlined <br />providing that the Adoption of this resolution shall not be considered as a final accept - <br />once nor as binding this Board in any manner whatsoever with regard to said proposition, <br />but shall be construed as signifying this hoard's desire to negotiate with the said <br />Conservator for the purpose of liquidating said frozen deposits and accounts but that no <br />liability or expense shall attaoh to this Board until such time as an agreeable trans- <br />action shall he finally completed and ratified by further resolution of this Board* <br />the motion for the adoption of the resolution being duly seconded, it was declared <br />adopted unanimously. <br />the several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were exami <br />and found corredt and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. such bills and <br />accounts being on file in the office of Clerk circuit court, the warrants so issued from <br />the respective funds being listed completely in the County Finance Record as provided by <br />law and the rules established by the state Auditing vepartmento and made a part of these <br />minutes as fully and completely as if the same were set out herein in detail. <br />The Cgunty Depositary filed its monthly statement of receipts and disbursements of <br />the various funds, which having been checked was f ound to be correct. <br />There being no further 'business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board then <br />adjourned until the regular meeting to be held in June 1941,. <br />A <br />.0 .0 'W a W " � ft M 40 .0 <br />d <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
