Helseth. klso present were uhae A mitchells .att- <br />orney; pm Prick, Sheriff and Miles Warrens Ulerge <br />it was ordered that lei" Mitchell c/o John 1!aoma.s (fol) Fellsmere, bel placed on <br />the pauper list to receive the sun of 46.00 per month until the further orders of the <br />Board. <br />Roy °flims (Col) Gifford, appeared before the Hoard appealing for assistance in <br />having his legs straightened. The Board agreed to give a letter that the sum of X25.00 <br />will be paid towards this operation after the same has been performed. <br />It was ordered that Robert Ely (dol) Wabassos c/o L.B.Osteen be placed on the <br />pauper list to receive the am of X6.00 per month. <br />It was ordered that Jack borton, winter beach, be placed on the pauper list to <br />receive the sum of 810.00 per month. <br />The -.following resolution vis introduced and unanumously adopteds <br />wFEMS9 Rouse Bill #496, adopted by the Legislature of Florlda, and being an .pct <br />regulating and taxing the manufacture, distribution and sale of beverages containing <br />more than one per centum of alcohol, etc., requires that this Board, by resolution <br />entered upon its minutes, fix two regular meeting dates per month for considering <br />applications under said act; THERETOBE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to said act, this hoard does herewith fix the first <br />and third Tuesdays of each month at the hour of 10s00 o'clock A.Y.at the Court House in <br />Vero Beach, Florida, as the two regular meeting dates per month for said purpose; <br />provided that the meeting on the third Tuesday of each month shall be -held upon notice <br />being given to the <br />respective <br />coamni ss ioners by the Clerk of the fact <br />that there are <br />applications under <br />said act to <br />be considered at such meeting, and if <br />there be no appi- <br />cations for consideration, then said meeting of the third Tuesday in each month siaall <br />not be held. <br />The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Mudge, who moved its <br />adoptions <br />elEl2, the Board of Administration has submitted certain proposals of fixms and <br />corporations to sell to said Hoard of administration certain bonds of the County or <br />Indian Rivers and obligations assumed by said County, under the provisions of house <br />Bill No. 30, .acts of the 1933 Legislatures and <br />uHEMB, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and taking into con. <br />sideration the amount of funds availsble for that purpose, and the approximate value <br />of said bonds, it is deemed advisable and expedient to purchase certain of said bonds <br />and obligatione, to -wits <br />Two (2) at Lucie County ( now Indian Xive r County) 6% quay <br />Bridge District bonds, lens­,Qoupone due June 1, and Dec 1, <br />1934, at a price of 901, as designated *'A" <br />Two (2) at Lucie County 6% Public Highway bond$, dated Feb <br />1, 1920 due Feb- is 1943 at a price of 57 flat as -designated <br />aBa <br />TBERSPOEE, BE IT MOWED# that the Board of Administration be requested to pur- <br />chase the foregoing bonds in accordance with the teras of the offerings. <br />The foregoing resolution vms duly seconded by Commissioner Poole and upon being <br />put to a vote the same me unanimously adopted. <br />
