MARCH 3rd 1936. <br />`the Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian Kivor County, Florida, met at the <br />Court House <br />. in Vero Beach, at 10:00 o'clock w. M. <br />`Tuesday, March 3rd <br />1936, with the <br />follow- <br />ing members <br />of the Board present: J.J.P.HFtimilton, <br />Chainn€an; Frank C. <br />Vickers; R. E. <br />Mudge, <br />E. P. Fbole <br />and Edwin A. H[elseth. .Also present <br />were: am. W. Frick, <br />Sheriff; Chas. <br />k. Mitch- <br />ell , At -to rney and Miles warren, Clerk. <br />The minutes of January 16th, February 4th and 17th 1936 were read and approved. <br />Mrs. Ella, Goodrich, Ho seland, appeared before the Board requesting repairs to the roads <br />in the Roseland precinct. Also T. A. -btelMrt, appeared requesting roads be placed in proper <br />condition and shape west of Vero Beach. These parties were advised that just as soon as the <br />work can be done and funds available for that purpose the respective requests will be compli- <br />ed wi th . <br />Miss Leila M. Bunkley and ,ars Rose Toohey before the Bogard and advised that Miss Bunkley <br />is now the appointed :federal Nurse for the County and explained the activities in connection <br />therewith. <br />It was ordered that the sum of X25.00 be appropriated out of the General Revenue :fund for <br />thread for the wPA sewing room. <br />Hr A. B. Crawford, appeared before the Board regarding the matter of residence of 4fr. <br />E . W . Shrewsbury. He was advi sed that thi s matter was now i n the hand s of the st Fate xo ad <br />Department and the City Health authorities. <br />fir, C. A. Lightsey, vainter Beach, appeared before the Board regarding the drainage from <br />the road leading North-east from state Road #4 , just Horth of -inter Beach to T OA.Vi ncent's <br />place. air. T. 0. Williams also. appeared at the some time and objected to all water being <br />drained from the road through his place. 'the Chairman agreed to attempt to work out some <br />satisfactory solution of the problem. <br />Mr. H. J. Young appeared before the Bogard and requested that the road from the old <br />Hutchinson corner to the South Wain canal be placed in condition. it was ordered the Road <br />Superintendent do this work at once. <br />
