<br />Commissioner Vickers introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption, to-wit:
<br />WHEREAS, property situated in Indian River County, .Florida, described its follows,
<br />d
<br />to-wit: North-west quarter. of South-west quarter and South half of South-west quarter in'
<br />Section 7 Township 31 South, Range 39 Eait,'was assessed for taxes in the year.1935 in I�di.an
<br />River County, Florida, by error by reason of the fact that in the year 1935' the said property
<br />was ana still is the public property of tiia City of ,sebastian, Florida, used and intended
<br />for public purposes, namely, the site of the Municipal Airport of the Uity o &ebastian,,
<br />Florida., THEREFORE, R
<br />BE IT FtWSA)LVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, does here-
<br />with instruct and request the Tax Assessor and the Tax Collector and either of them or both
<br />of them to cancel and nullify the said assessment and levy of State and County taxes upon
<br />property for the year 1935.
<br />Motion for the adoption of the resolution being duly seconded, it was unanimously
<br />carri ed.
<br />T,i RE SOLUT ION.
<br />The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Vickers, who moved its adoption:
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Administration has submitted certain proposals of firms, indivi-
<br />duals and corporations offering to sell to said Board of Administration certain bonds of the
<br />County of Indian River and obligations assumed by said County, under the provisions of House
<br />Bill No. 30, Acts of the 1933 Legislature, and
<br />WHEREAS, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and taking into considerat
<br />the amount of funds available for that purpose, and the approximate value of said bonds, it IF
<br />deemed advisable and expedient to purchase certain of said bonds, and obligations, to -wit:
<br />One (1) Special R&B Dist #4 bond #32 dated July 1, 1935 due July 1,
<br />1932, at a price of 67, with no past due coupons attached, as desig-
<br />nated offering "A".
<br />Three (3) St Lucie County Public Highway bonds at a price of 78 flat as
<br />designated offering "B".
<br />Two (2) St Lucie County Public Highway bonds No. 201 & 204 due Feby 1,
<br />1937 at a price of db flat as designated offering O C" .
<br />THEREFORE,
<br />BE
<br />IT RESOLVED, that the Board
<br />of Administration
<br />be requested to purchase the
<br />foregoing bonds
<br />in
<br />accordance with the teams of
<br />the offerings as
<br />submitted,
<br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Mudge, and upon being put to
<br />a vote the same was unanimously adopted.
<br />It was ordered that the following persons 'be placed on the pauper last to receive the
<br />amount indicated until the further orders of the ooard:
<br />Mrs Me rvey situp son, Wabas so , 66 000 per month
<br />H. B. Po rter, Vero Beach, $8.00 per month
<br />It was ordered that the following named persons be stricken from the pauper list of the
<br />County:
<br />Renda Herring (col) Fellsmere
<br />Mrs. Jessie Yates, Fe llsmere
<br />The several bills 'ancr accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined
<br />and found correct, were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. Such
<br />bills and accounts -being on file in the office of the Ulerk of the Circuit Court.
<br />The warrants so issued from the respective funds being listed completely in the supple-
<br />mental minute book, as required by the rules and practice of the State auditing Department,,
<br />reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes as fully
<br />and completely as if the same were set out herein in detail.
<br />'.There being no further business on motion made, seconded .and carried the Board then
<br />adjourned, subject to the call of the Chaixm.an.
