MONDAY, JULY 6th 1936 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River county met in the of'f'ice of the Clerk of the Circuit Court at Vero Reacn, in the County of Indican River on this the 6th day of July, 1936, and the following County Commissioners were presents J.J. P. Hamilton, Chaii.man; R. E. Mudge; E. P. Poole and Edwin A. heleeth. Absent Frank C. Vickers. The Clerk of the Circuit Court having prepared estimates of the revenue and receipts from sources other than from taxes to be levied, reasonably to be expected from the first day of October 1936 to the 30th dray of September. 1937, the said estimates having been properly verified under oath were ordered spread upon the minutes of the Board and the ori- ginal to be filed as a part of the records of the Board, and is in words and figures as follows$ - GEMRhL RFVANUEY FUND. Tax Redemptions ....................:..1800.00 Race 'Track funds ....................:. 5000.00 Cash ball,nce......................... 250.00 07050.00 FA The Tax Assessor having presented his books showing the assessed valuation of property for examination by the Board in compliance with the requirements of Section 934 of compiled laws of Florida, and the Board of County Commissioners having given notice for fifteen days by publication in the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a newspaper published at Vero Beach in the County of Indinn River, that the Board would meet on this day as a Board of Equalizers for the purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the value of any property, reel, personal or mixod, as fixed by the County Tax Assessor of taxes for. assessment for the taxes of the year 1936, the owners and agents of property, who appeared for that purpose, were allowed to make full.ond complete statements as to the valuation of the property owned or represented by them and the Tax Assessor and the members of the Board having fully dis- cussed the statements and facts,as presented decided that no changes will be made in the assessments as fixed and prepared by the Tax Assessor of tuxes for the year 1936. n %cI L
