<br />Ithe following resolution Im was introduced by Commissioner Mudge, who moved its adoptions
<br />WIMREAS, the Board of Administration has submitted certain proposals of firms, individual
<br />and corporations offering to sell to said board of administration certain bonds of the County
<br />of Indian River and obligations assumed by said County, under the provisions of house Bill
<br />No. 30, acts of the 1933 Legislsature, and
<br />wHEIWAS, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and taking into consideration
<br />the amount of funds available for that purpose and the approximate value of said bonds, it is
<br />deemed advisable and expedient to purchase certain of said bonds, and obligations, to -wit:
<br />Two (2) Wabasso Bridge District bonds dated Jul 1, 1926 due Jan
<br />1, 1952 at a price of 74 flat, as designated offerfang "A".
<br />Three (3) St Lucie County Highway 611 bonds doted :deb 11, 19209 2
<br />due Feb 1, 1949 and 1 due Feb 11 1950 at a price of 75, less 3
<br />points for one missing coupon, as designated offering 'AB1*
<br />THEREFOHS, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Uounty Commissioners that thestate Board of
<br />Administration be requested to purchase the foregoing bonds and obligations assumed by this
<br />County, in accordance with the terms of the offerings as submitted.
<br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Poole, and upon being put to
<br />a vote the some was unanimously adopted.
<br />The Board then proceeded to name and select the inspectors and Clerk of the various
<br />voting precincts of the County to hold and conduct the Special Primary election to be held
<br />Tuesday; august 11th 1936 for the Purpose of selecting two candidates for United States Sena-
<br />tor from this state, as follows:

<br />Carlton as c€andidates, and that Claude Pepper a candidate, having been nominated without
<br />opposition, it was ordered his name be omitted from the official primary ballot in said elect
<br />It was further ordered the Clerk prepare the ballot boxes* with all tally sheets, registration
<br />boobs, ballots, poll lists, instructions to voters and etc., and deliver the same to the
<br />Sheriff for distribution to the several precincts of the Uounty.
