1 <br />I. <br />1 <br />Miss Leila M. Bunkley, County Nurse, appeared before the Board and made a verbal <br />report of her activities for the month of December 1936. She reported on the case of Mrs <br />J .D. Car ter, Winter Beach, Fla,, and mentioned that one of her boys would soon be attending <br />C.C.C€amp and that she would receive $25.00 per month from that source. Miss Bunkley also <br />presented bill from L.P.Simmonds Dry Goods Company in the amount of $8.30 for clothing <br />on account of Mr Owens 4nd also reported the Red Cross paid for glasses in the Shaw case: <br />She also reported 75 families having received food and or clothing throught the community <br />,s fund. <br />It was moved by E.P.Poole,seconded by Edwin .A. Helseth and unanimously carried that the <br />monthly cpmpensation to the County Judge, for handling Juvenile cases be fixed at $250'00 <br />per month. <br />Mr G. Te rry Robinson appeared before the Board regarding the purchase of a lawn mower <br />f or the Jail and Courthouse lawns and asked for consideration on his lawn mower when and if <br />the Board decided to purchase one. <br />of Social Service <br />Miss Mary Percival, Staperintendent/of this district No. 4 including Martin, 'St. Lucie, <br />Okeechobee and Indian River Counties, appeared before the Board in connection with the fork. <br />W.H.Garns, employed by this Board as their represenative on the job of constructing <br />the new Court House, appeared before this Board in connection with the Furniture and <br />Fixtures for the New Court House. Mr Garns Was instructed to contact each of the Off ici6ls <br />Of the various offices and obtain specifications on the 'Furniture and Fixtures necessary <br />to be used in the offices and court room of the new Court House and report this information <br />to the Bo €ard. <br />Mr E.GeMfiberg, appeared before the Board with reference to road leading from highwnyy <br />to hi's place. action was deferred to a later date*' <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, was instructed to notif$ Frank A. Knight, Road Superintendent, <br />to proceed with the filling and grading of the new Court House grounds. <br />C. P.
