<br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at.
<br />the Court House in Vero Beach, at 1:00 o'clock P. M. Thursday, March 4th., 1937 in reg-
<br />ular adjourned meeting, with the following members of the Board present, R.E.Mudge,
<br />Chairman; E. P. Poole, S. E. Gloger, Frank C. Vickers and Edwin A. Helseth. Also present
<br />were Wm. W. Frick, Sheriff; Chas. A. Mitchell, Attorney for the Board and Douglas Baker,
<br />Clerk.
<br />Proposal for refunding the present outstanding bonded indebtedness of Special
<br />Road and Bridge District # 4 was submitted by The Columbia'Sscurities Corp., Topeka, Kansas
<br />and The Vernon H. Branch Company Co. Wichita, Kansas. Said proposal being filed for farther
<br />consideration.
<br />Mrs Toohey appeared before the Board and requested the use of a kerem me stove
<br />for the W. P. A. sewing room . This request was granted.
<br />It was moved by E. P. Poole seconded by Edwin A. Helseth and carried that the
<br />Board accept the estimates submitted by J. H. Baker and L. N. Dellerman for certain repgirs
<br />and or equipment, as set forth in said estimates, to be made and or furnished to old Court
<br />House Building.
<br />It was ordered that the Sheriff and Tax Assessor report the cutting of timber on
<br />lands, where the taxes are unpaid, to the Board.
<br />It was moved by E. P. Poole, seconded by Edwin A.,Helseth and carried and the Clerk
<br />instructed to draw a warrant on the General Fund in the amount of $100.00 payable to the
<br />Chamber of Commerce, for general advertising for the year 1937.
<br />It was ordered that Frank A. Knight, Road Superintendent, be instructed to make deal
<br />with Mr D. M. Domminici, Fellsmere, Fla. on certain tires and tubas owned by the County and
<br />the sum involved to be applied on lumber and piling obtained from Mr Dominici.
<br />There being no further business on motion made,seconded and carried,the Board
<br />adjourned to meet on Thursday, March 11th., 1937 at 10:30 o'clock A. M.
