i <br />Three (3) Indian River County SpecialR & B District #4, 6% Bonds, Dated July 1 <br />1925$ due July, 19420 at a price of 90 with July, 1934 subsequent coupons attached, as desig- <br />nated offering "B", <br />One (1) Indian River County Special R & B District #4, 6% Bonds, dated July 1, <br />1925, due July, 1955,„at a price of 90 with July, 1934 subsequent coupons attached, as desig- <br />nated <br />esig-nated offering "B”, <br />Three (3) St. Lucie County 6%o Public Highway Bonds, dated February 1, 1920, due <br />February 1, 19409 at a price of 83 flat with August 1, 1933 and subsequent coupons attached, <br />as designated offering "D". <br />Two (2) St. Lucie County, Road & Dock 5% Bonds,, dated June 1, 1910, due June 1 <br />19352 at a price of 83 flat with June 1, 1934 and subsequent coupons attached, as designated <br />offering FIE", <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, that the State <br />Board of Administration be requested to purchase the securities listed above at the price <br />quoted. <br />The resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Poole and upon being put to a <br />vote the same was unanimously adopted. <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - <br />R E S O L U T I O N. <br />CERTIFIED COPY OF RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTED AT REGULAR MELT T- <br />ING OF SAID BOARD HELD JUNE Z, 1937 At THE <br />O OURT HOUSEIN VERO B"CH, FLORIDA. <br />Whereas, Indian river County, Florida has contructed a County Court House <br />under and by virtue of grant and loan by Public Works Administration and which Court House <br />has been recently completed; and, <br />Whereas, the financing of said Court House as to the loan obtained for such <br />purpose was pursuant to resolution adopted by said Board of County Commissioners at a <br />meeting thereof held January 16, 1936, and which resolution as to requirements thereof <br />provides for the payment in the year 1936 of interest on said Court House obligations 'in. <br />the total amount of $1540.00 and principal of $500.00, or a total of $2040„00, and which <br />resolution provides that in the tax year 1936 the said Board of County Commissioners, for <br />the purpose of paying said sum of $2040.00 and for providing a sinking fund, shall raise the <br />total sum of $4140.00 and that said requirement to provide for the taxable year 1936 the sum <br />of $4140.00 is the sole and only requirement of said Board of County Commissioners for said <br />year with regard to said Court House bonds; and <br />Whereas, in the budget and estimate for expenses for the year 1936, as fixed by <br />a meeting of said County Commissioners held July 7, 1936, an estimate was therein made as <br />follows: <br />Interest Sinking <br />Tag Assessor= - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- 0 200000 <br />TaxCollector---- ------- ------ ------- -- - - -- 2006,00 <br />Interest 10ourt House Bonds - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1t540100 <br />Retire Court House Bonds - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 10,000.00 <br />Pro rata debt, St, Lucie County - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5,000.00 <br />Reserve, uncollected tag - - - - - - - - - - 2.884,60, <br />o 894. 650 <br />That the foregoing estimate and budget setting out 010,000.00 for the purpose <br />of retiring Court House Bonds was $9,500.00 in excess of any bonds falling due within the <br />period of time for which such taxes were levied and that the sole and only requirement was <br />that the sumzof $4140.00 should be provided for such Court He use fund in the year 1936; <br />
