X134 <br />and.'patr 6tic act; <br />Be It Further Resolved that a copy of this resolution be placed upon the minutes of <br />said Board of County Commissioners and that a copy be- f& arded by the Clerk of this Board to <br />the Junior Order of United Amerioan Mechanics'." <br />Commissioner Helseth seconded the motion for the adoption of the resolution and the <br />same was adopted by unanimous vote. <br />`RES0LUTI0N. <br />�r� The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Helseth, who moved its ad- <br />option: <br />AREAS, The State Board of Administration has submitted certain proposals of in- <br />dividuals, firms and corporations offering*to sell to*said Board of .Administration certain <br />bonds of Indian` River County, ' anal obligations' assumed by said County, under the provisions <br />of House Bill leo. 30, acts of the 1933 Legislature; and <br />WHEREAS, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and taking into con- <br />sideration the amount of funds available for that purpose, and the approximate value of said <br />bonds and obligations, it is deeifted advisable and expedient to purchase certain of said bonds <br />and obligations to -wit: <br />Three (3) St. Lucie County Road and.Dock 6s, dated June 1, 1910, due June 1, 1935s <br />at a price of 85 flat with June 1934 subsequent coupons attached, as designated offering *B'".. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVZD, by the Board of County Commissioners, that the State <br />Board of Administration be requested to purchase the securities listed above at the price <br />quoted. <br />:" The resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Poole and upon being put to a vote <br />the same was unanimously adopted. <br />RESOLUTION, <br />Commissioner E. P..Poole introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AREAS there is a balance in the Oustanding Indebtedness Fund of $6523.16 and a <br />balance of $752.41 in the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, funds under the control of this Board, and <br />AREAS, due to the heavy demand that has been made upon the Fine and Forfeiture <br />Fund of this .County to meet current and extraordinary expenditures; <br />T�REF.ORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the sum of $1500.00 be transferred from the Oat - <br />standing Indebtedness Fund to the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, upon the approval of the :tate <br />V <br />Comptroller, to assist in meeting the current and extraordinary expenses of the County. <br />Upon being put to a vote the same was unanimously adopted. <br />0 <br />Sheriff William Frig, filed his semi. -annual report of Fees and commissions for the <br />period January lst 1937 to June.30th 1937, as.follows; a <br />Civil costs collected.........................$174.60 <br />Criminal costs (other Sherfiffs).............. 67.04 <br />Criminal costs County.........................1270.56 <br />General Court costs.... o**ee0000e**000e*ooe***1005,.5.3 <br />Commission on fines collected.. ............... 89.10 <br />TOTAL.............�...$2,606.83 <br />EMNSES : <br />Estelle Rymer..(office work)...................$238.00 <br />Upkeep, Au*o, Gas & oil........:.............. 133.29 <br />John Beugnot.................................. 21.25 <br />TOTAL ................... 392.54 <br />or report TOTAL NET INCO1ME........... 2.,2 ..,9 <br />said statement/was duly sworn to and subscribed before me, Douglas Baker, C.C.Ct.
