Horton, <br />Assessor of Taxes, St. Lucie <br />County. <br />There being no further business, on motion duly made-, seconded and carried the <br />Board adjourned until theregular meeting in November 1925. <br />0000000000000 <br />TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd, 1925. <br />The J3oard of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday November 3rd 1925, with the following members <br />of the Board present: John H. Atkin, Chairman; G. A. Braddock; J. W. LaBruce; Donald <br />Forbes and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present was Miles °warren, Clerk. <br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. <br />The notary Public bond of S. B. Smith, in the sum of $500 00 with the American <br />Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />Mrs. A. W. Young and other ladies appeared before the Board with respect to the <br />employment of a County nurse. After some discussion, it was ordered that a Nurse be <br />employed at a salary of $150.00 per month for the next seven months, and <br />was employed as such. <br />The Bond of 1'red E King, as Justice of the Peace, District No. 5 in the sum of <br />$500.00 with Henry 0. Sharpley and Chas J. Brown as sureties was approved. <br />Mr. H. W. Damerow and W. J. Maher appeared before the Board with respect to securing <br />rights-of-way for Ocean Driveway in the County. <br />The County Engineer was instructed to erect a sign at the North and South mat <br />boundary line of the County to inform the traveling public that. the Highway is patrolled <br />by traffic officer. <br />The Deputy Sheriff bond of William Frick, in the sum of $1,000.00 with William <br />Atkin and Nellie M. Babb, as sureties was approved. <br />The County Judge filed his report of real estate licenses issued for the month of <br />October showing 0350.00 collected for the State; $175.00 Collected for the County and <br />$70.00 collected for the Florida Real Estate Board. <br />It was ordered that the Clerk be instructed to write C. C. Braswell to put the <br />road from the Dixie Highway to the quay Bridge in as good condition as it was before it <br />was damaged by his employees. Also that in the future all road work must be done under <br />the direction and supervision of the County Engineer, whether by individuals or the <br />County itself. <br />The Board then goes recessed until 1:30 P.R. <br />The J3oard of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County re -convened at the <br />Court House at 1:30 P.k.this date pursuant to recess of fore -noon. The following members <br />of the Board were present: John H Atkin, Chaiman; G. A. Braddock; J. W. LaBruce; Donald <br />Forbes and°. 0. Helseth. Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. <br />It was ordered that the Clerk write the Biscayne finance Company or R. E. Abbott, <br />
