Administration certain -bonds <br />Of Indian River County, and obligations assumed by said County, under the provisions of House <br />Bill No. 30, acts of the 1933 Legislature; and <br />WHEREAS, after carefully considering all.of such proposals.:and taking into consider- <br />ation the amount of funds available for that purpose, and the approximate value of said bonds, <br />and obligations, it is deemed advisable and expedient to purchase certain of said bonds and <br />obligations to -wit: <br />One (1) St. Ducie County (Indian River) Road.& Bridge No. 1, dated January 1, 1918, <br />due July 1931, at a price of 99 flat, no past due coupons attabhed, as designated offering GAO. <br />One(1) Nabasso Bridge District, dated July 1,. 192§, due.January 1,. 1952, at a price <br />of 89 flat, with July 1, 1934 and subsequent coupons attached, as designated offering "B". <br />One (1) St. Lucie County Road and Dock, dated June 11, 1910, due -June -1. 1935, ata, <br />price of 8* flat, with June 19 1934 and subsequent coupons attached, as designated offering <br />WC". <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, that the State <br />Board of Administration be requested to purchase the decurities listed above at the price quo <br />ed. . <br />-The resolutionwas duly seconded by Coffimissioner Poole °and upon being put to a vote <br />the same was unanimously adopted. <br />Application for issuance of Duplicate Tax Sale -Certificate. <br />Application was made to the Board of County Commissioners for the issuance of'duplc <br />to tax sales certificates in lieu of certificates alleged by affidavit to be the property of <br />the affiant therein and to have been lost and destroyed and which certificates were numbered <br />2649 267 and 268 of the sale of June 1, 1925 for taxes due the State of Florida and what was <br />then St. Lucie and is now Indian River County, Florida for the year 1924, and upon property <br />situated in what is now Indian River County, Florida, described as follows: <br />Tracts 10, 119 121, 13 and 14 in Section 29, Township 33 South, Range 39 -East. <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the Board of County Commissioners order- <br />ed that upon the filing of affidavits aforesaid by the holder and owner of said lost or de- <br />stroyed tax sales certificates, and which affidavit shall contain a written statement that <br />the said holder and owner shall protect the Clerk of the Circuit. -Court of Indian River County <br />and his successors in office from any liability or expense by reason of the issuance of.du- <br />plioate tax certificates, the Clerk of the Circuit'Court of Indian River County, Florida is <br />authorized to issue such duplicate tax certificates to James C.
