1 <br />and"by virtue of said "Kanner Bill" except said Fero Bridge District and except said Atlantic <br />and Gulf Special Road and Bridge District and except said Fellsmere Cross ;Mate Road District <br />and with the qualification provided as to said Special Road and Bridge District No. 4. <br />The motion, for the adoption of the resolution being duly'seconded it was declared <br />adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Mudge, Poole, Vickers, Glover. <br />Nays: bone. <br />On motion made by E. P. Poole, seconded by S.°E. Glover and carried the Board agreed <br />to rent the County road roller to Manly Kersey at the rate of $10.00 per day and with a county <br />employee on thebbasis of 30¢ per hour. <br />Application for license to sell intoxicating liquors, wines and beer was filed by <br />Harry E. Thompson, Gifford, which was carefully examined and denied because of location being <br />to close to churchs: <br />Notary Public Bond in the amount of $500.00 for Ralph Sedgwick with. the American <br />Surety Company of New Fork as surities was approved. <br />Notary Public Bond in the amount of $500,00 for Troy Be Moody with the U. Si Fidelit <br />and Guarantee Company as surities was approved September 17th., 1937 with the -signatures of <br />,Commissioners Helseth, Glover and Poole. <br />Hon. Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector, filed his errors, insolvencies and double assess- <br />ments list and an motion made by E, P. Poole, seconded by Frank C. Vickers and carried said <br />list was accepted by the Board. <br />Miss Leila M, Bunkley, County Nurse, appeared before the Board and filed her report <br />for the month of geptember as follows, to -wit: <br />Number .of cases under care during the month, 55 white and 17 colored, <br />Total number of visists to these cases were, 64 white and 23 colored, 21 visits were <br />made in behalf of these cases, <br />6 clinics were held for Venerehl Diseases with an attendance of 92, <br />14 cases 01 were feferred for Medical examination: One case hospitalized. <br />Children in 5 white schools were given the opportunity to be immunized against Small. <br />Pox and Diphtheria. <br />105 conferences were held with interested individuals, doctors, teachers and nurses.1 <br />Dr. C. We Pease District Health Officer and Mrs. Inez Nelson District Supervisor of <br />Nurses were in the county during the month. <br />Four classes were conduc&ed in Home.Hygiene with an attendance of 29, <br />Scheduled for the month of October is the Puppet•Show. This show is to be put on by <br />Bureau of Dental Health under Dr. E. C. Geiger. <br />Constakle, Clark S. Rice, filed his semi-annual report of fees and commissions for <br />the period January 1, 1937 to June 30, 1937 as follows; <br />Receipts. <br />Criminal Cost ................................$ 28.64 <br />Expenses. <br />Gas and ....... ........ ,.. 11.37 <br />TOTALNET INCOME......................0 17.27 <br />SAid Statement or report was duly sworn to and subscribed before me, Douglas Baker, <br />Clerk Circuit Court; September 20th., 1937. and H. B. Porter, Vero Beach, <br />It was ordered that Ella Scofield (Col) Fero Beach/be stricken from the Paupers list <br />It was ordered that Mrs. Anna Mohr, Vero Beach and Mrs. M.
