Hill <br />FOR MEMBER REPUBLICAN COUNTY'EBECUTIVE COMMITTEE, PRECINCT NO. 6. <br />f <br />Bruce Bazler <br />It was further ordered that the Clark prepare the ballots for the several precincts <br />and prepare the ballot boxes with all laws, ballots, tally books, affidavits and other blanks. <br />necessary for the proper conduct of said primary election to be held Tuesday May -3, 1938, and <br />deliver said ballot boxes so prepared to the Sheriff for distribution to the various precincts <br />of the County. <br />The following resolution was introduced by C. S. Michael who moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION <br />AREAS, this Board, as the governing authority of Special Road and Bridge District <br />no. 4, of Indian River County, Florida, has heretofore, by resolution duly and legally adopted, <br />authorized and ordered the issuance of $445,000.00_2oad and Bridge 2efonding Bonds of said Dis- <br />trict, in the denomination of $1,000.00 each, dated January 1, 1937, for the purpose -of refund- <br />ing: (a) $3669000.00 outstanding Road and Bridge Bonds dated July 1, 1925, of said District, <br />as fully described in said authorizing resolution above referred to; and (b) $79,000.00 accrued <br />-and unpaid interest to January 1, 1937, on said outstanding bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions.of_said refunding resolution first above referred <br />to, said $445,000.00 Refunding Bonds of said District have been duly validated and confirmed by <br />decree of the Circuit Court in and for Indian River County, Florida, made and entered on Sept- <br />ember 13, 1937,and said bonds have been duly executed and deposited with The First National Bang <br />in the -City of Chicago, Illinois, designated exchange agent, accompanied by formal'instructions <br />and authority for exchange of said Refunding Bonds for bonds of original issue and evidences of <br />interest accruals -thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, it now appears that, by reason of clerical error, interest coupons due July <br />1, 1937, in the sum of $10,560.00 were inadvertently included in calculating the interest ac- <br />cruals on outstanding bonds of original issue provided to be exchanged for bonds of said Refund- <br />ing Bond issue dated January 1, 1937, and therefore the amount of refunding bonds authorized to <br />be issued is $10,560.00 in excess of actual requirements for such exchanges, and said excess Re- <br />funding Bonds are a nullity and should be cancelled and destroyed; and <br />WHEREAS, it is contemplated that, in the course of this refunding operation, some of <br />the bonds and matured coupons of original issue may possibly be required to be paid and not be <br />exchanged for Refunding Bonds, in which event it would become necessary to cancel Refunding Bond <br />in an amount equivalent to any such original items so paid; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORLDA, <br />IN SESSION,DULY ASSEMBLED: <br />Section 1 (a) That the First National Bank, Chicago, Illinois, be and it is hereby <br />
