<br />authorized and requested to cancel ten (10) of the said Refunding Bonds held by that institutio
<br />as exchange agent and allocated to be exchanged for Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) of inter-
<br />est accruals on outstanding Road and Bridge Bonds dated July 1, 1925, of said District, and to
<br />carry forward to a „suspense account" the remainder, $560.00, of the excess amount as set forth
<br />in the Third Preamble hereof, said residual amount to be added to any subsequent amounts of
<br />original coupons hereafter reported as having been paid, as provided in Section 2 hereof, and
<br />when said suspense account reaches a total of $1,000.00, or multiple thereof, anoquivalent
<br />amount of Refunding Bonds allocated for exchange for such evidences of interest accruals shall
<br />be cancelled by said First National Bank of Chicago, as specifically provided in Paragraph (c)
<br />hereof.
<br />(b) That said immediate cancellation of $10,000.00 Refunding Bonds be made by reason
<br />of the circumstances set'forth In the Third Preamble hereof.
<br />(c) That the said First National Bank, Chicago, Illinois, be and it is hereby further
<br />authorized and directed, upon receipt hereafter of certificates from the State Treasurer as pro
<br />vided for in Section 2 hereof, to cancel proper refunding bonds allocated for exchange for any
<br />original bonds or matured coupons appurtenant thereto, described in such State Treasurer's cert
<br />ficates as having been paid and cancelled.
<br />(d) That the said First National Bank, of Chicago, Illinois, shall promptly forward
<br />the State Treasurer, as Treasurer of the State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, Florida,
<br />any and all mutilated refunding -bonds which are cancelled pursuant to the provisions of this
<br />resolution, sending c°�ies of the letter of transmittal to the Clerk of this Board, and tp.•the
<br />Fiscal Agent, R. E. Crummer & Company,.First Narional Bank Building, Orlando,
<br />Florida, and to said Company at 800 First National Bank Building, Chicao, Ill.
<br />Section 2. That the State Treasurer as ex -officio County Treasurer of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, be and he is -hereby authorized and directed to prepare and forward to the said
<br />First National Bank, of Chicago, -Illinois, a certificate listing and describing any bonds of
<br />original issue, included within the scope of the above identified refunding program, which have
<br />been cancelled and retired since the Refunding Bonds were executed and deposited with said bank,
<br />and is further authorized to furnish such other and additional certificates to said bank, from
<br />time to time and whenever the occasion arises, describing any Special Road and Bridge District
<br />No. 4 bonds of original issue or matured coupons appurtenant thereto which may hereafter be paid
<br />and retired, and the said State Treasurer is requested to forward copies of such certificates to
<br />the Clerk of this Board and to the County's Fiscal Agent, R. E. Crummer & Company, First Nat
<br />Bank Buildings, Orlando, Florida, and to said Fiscal Agent at 800 First National Bank Building,
<br />Chicago, Illinois.
<br />Section 3. That the Clerk of this Board be and he is hereby diree ted to forward
<br />certified copies of this resolution to the State Treasurer as County Treasurer ex -officio, Talla
<br />hassee, Florida, and to the First National Bank, Chicago, Illinois, which shall be their author-
<br />ity to do and perform the acts provided for in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, respectively, and that
<br />certified copies be also furnished the Orlando and Chicago offices of R. E. Crummer & Company."
<br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded•by Commissioner Vickers, and upon being,
<br />put to a vote the same was unanimously adopted.
<br />As provided by law, the State of Board of Pensions, furnished this board with a list
<br />of persons residing in this County who now receiving Confederate Pensions from the State, each
<br />having been checked over by the board was found to be correct. The following is the list of
<br />Confederate Pensioners of Indian River County.
