Honorable Troy E. Moody extended an invitation to members of the Board bd attend a meeting of the Kiwanis Club to be held dednesday, April 19th., at 12:15 P. M. and said invit- ation was accepted by the Board. It was ordered Mrs. Rudolph Kersey receive the sum of $10.00 per month from. the General Revenue Fund until her husband is released from Jail. It was moved by W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Frank C. Vickers and unanimously carried to rescind a former action of this Board not to rent County equipment and it was ordered that the County Grader be rented at the rate of $3.00 per hour and the County Dragline be rented atthe rate of $4.00 per hour with the understanding that the applicant pay one-half W the cost of transportation of the eq#pment when moved from one location to another. Honorable W. R. Duncan, Tax Assessor appeared before the Board and stated in his opinion it would be a good idea to have introduced in the Legislature a State Bill providing for some one to examine Deeds before they were recorded in order to avoid any mistkkes or errors as to the property desetiption therein. The Board appointed a Committee consisting of f. R. Duncan, Charles A. Mitchell and Douglas Baker to investigate the possibility of having such a Bill prepared and introduced. Honorable N. R. Dunca4sTax Assessor appeared befo" the Board and submitted a state- ment of commissions due him for assessing the taxes and preparing the Tax 'Roll for the gear 1938' as to General School County Wide Maintenance in the sum of $296.86 and then on motion made by $a E. Glover, seconded by Frank C. Vickers and carried,the Bill was approved by the Board.
