<br />Commissioner Frank C. Vickers Introduced the following resolution and moved its
<br />adoption to -wit:
<br />WBBREAS, St. Lucie County, Florida, has heretofore caused to be.issued Road and Bri
<br />Refunding Bonds bearing Hate of July 1, 1937, to be exchanged for outstanding funded indebted-
<br />ness of said St. Lucie County; and
<br />WHEREAS, of such indebtedness this County is justly indebted to said St. Lucie County
<br />in the proportionate share which has heretofore been established and fixed on the records of
<br />the State Board of Administration, and for which proportionate share this Board has heretofore
<br />caused to be lodged with the lion. W. V. Knott, State Treasurer as County Treasurer ex officio,
<br />Road.gnd Bridge Refunding Bonds bearing the same date,.interest rates, and terms of payment as
<br />the Road and Bridge Refunding Bonds provided to be issued by St. Lucie County; and said Hon.
<br />W. V. Knott has necessary instructions for the issuance of said bonds from time to time as the
<br />circumstances warrant; and
<br />WHEREAS, semi-annual interest coupons on said Road and Bridge Refunding Bonds of this
<br />County are, or will become, due and payable as follows: January 1, 19389 July 19 1938, January
<br />10 1939, July 1, 1939, January 1, 1940; and it is the desire of this Board to make funds avail-
<br />able for the payment of coupons maturing as set forth above, from such Refunding Bonds as are
<br />issued by the Hon. W. V. Knott under instructions heretofore furnished him:
<br />NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY.COMISSIONERS OF Indian River
<br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY ASSEimm: -
<br />Section 1. That the State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, Florida, be, and it
<br />is hereby, instructed and directed to cause sufficient funds now, or hereafter, credited to the
<br />Karver Bill Account for this .County's indebtedness to St. Lucie County to'be transferred from
<br />said Kanner Bill Account to the Interest and Sinking Fund Account of said Refunding Bonds of
<br />this County issued to St. Lucie County,.said transfer to be made in an amount which, after
<br />a
<br />making due allowance for funds now in said Interest and Sinking Fund Account of said Refunding
<br />Bonds, will be sufficient to provide for the payment of the coupons maturing as set forth in
<br />the preambles of this resolution from such of the Refunding Bonds of this County as have been
<br />or are hereafter issued by the said Hon. W. V. Knott under instructions heretofore given him.
<br />Section 2. That the Clerk of this Board be, and he is hereby, instructed and directed
<br />to furnish certified copies of this resolution as follows: (a) Duplicates thereof to Aon. W. V.
<br />Knott, State Treasurer as County Treasurer ex officio, Tallahassee, Florida, which certified
<br />copies will be the authority of the Hon. W. V. Knott and the State Board of Administration to
<br />do and perform all acts required to accomplish the purposes.hereof; (b) One thereof to W. R.
<br />Lott, Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, Ft. Pierce,
<br />Florida; (c) duplicates thereof to R. E. Crummer & Company, Orlando, Florida.
<br />The resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Graves and upon being put to a vote
<br />the same unanimously adopted:
