Graves, -Jr, seconded -by Albert 0. Halseth and unanimously carr- <br />ied that the County purchase a motor patrol and other equipment for the Road and Bridge Depart- <br />ment of Indian River .County. <br />There being no further business, on motion made,,seconded and carried the Board then <br />adjorned. <br />CHAMMM <br />ATT T: <br />CLERE• <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- <br />TUESDAY SEPTMM3R 2, 1941'. <br />The Board�of.County Commissioners of Indian River County -met at the Court House in <br />Vero Beach, at 10:00 o'clock A. M, Tuesday, September 2, 1941, in regular meeting*with the <br />following members of.the Board present: C. S. Michael, Chairman; S. 'Be Glover, Albert 0. Hel- <br />seth, W, C. Graves.4r., and. Frank C.. Vickers. -Also present ,were Wm. W. Frick, ,Sheriff, Charles <br />A. Mithcell, Attorney for the Board, and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />The tax books being reedy to be returned to the Tax Assessor for the purpose of ex- <br />tending the taxes thereon as provided by law the -Board of County Commissioners took up the <br />matter of making an -estimate of the necessary expenses for the fiscal year from ©ctober 1st, <br />1941 to the 30th day of September, 1942, and having considered the receipts estimated by the <br />Clerk and the Tax Assessor having given full consideration to the needs and necessities of the <br />County and the requirements for the different purposes to meet the expenses during the said <br />fiscal year, have determined and do hereby declare -the following to be the expenses and all <br />special and extraordinary expenses contemplated for the fiscal year next ensuing and for which <br />the revenue for the year 1941 from ad valorem taxation and the estimated receipts from other <br />sources will be available.. <br />100 <br />40:411M,14_110041143 <br />1 i <br />211.
