Troy <br />E. Moody, Tag Collector. <br />legal <br />It.was <br />ordered the Vero Beach Press Journal be paid according to the <br />regular/rate of <br />advertising for publishing a list of the County Warrants each month. <br />Deputy Sheriff's Bond for L. W. Silsby for the sum of $1,000.00 with A. M. Hill and', <br />.a <br />J. M. Knight as sureties, was approved, <br />Application was made by Claude Elliott to purchase Lot 28, Block 35, City of Vero <br />Beach. Said lot being owned by Indian River County and the City of Vero Beach. motion to <br />Commissioner Helseth, seconded by <br />table the matter was made by/ Commissioner Vickers and unanimously carried. <br />The Board's attention was called to a number of leaks in and around several windows i" <br />in the Court.House and the matter was referred to E. Z. Carter, County Engineer, for attention <br />and action if necessary. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, was instructed to write Hoa. Z. Edwin Larson, State Treasurer, <br />for his opinion as to which type of securities being offered in the new War Bond Drive would be <br />best in which to invest surplus county funds. vl"Jd N04 <br />It was ordered the Board of Public Instruction be paid the sum of $,800.00 from <br />General Revenue Fund. Said sum representing surplus Race Track and State Revenue funds as per <br />Resolution in Couaty,Commissioners.Book 2, pp. 395• <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examin- <br />ed and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and. <br />accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Warrants so issued <br />from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by the <br />rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements <br />i.. <br />of the various funds, which having been audited were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />/ then adjourned until 10:00 o'clock A.
