Bunkley, County Nurse, be paid the sum of $150.00 per month in <br />lieu of $133.00 per month, effective this date. <br />It was ordered Clara Williams, colored, Gifford, be paid the sum of $6.00 per month <br />from the General Revenue Fund for October and November. <br />Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney, was requested to confer with the City Commissioners <br />regarding the purchase of the cities interest in Lot 28, Block 35, City of Vero Beach. R. Duncan, Tax Assessor, was granted: <br />The Honorable Board of County Commissioners, <br />Indian River County, <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />Gentlemen: <br />We find by our records that Mr. d. P. Skinner filed his claim for homestead exemption, <br />for the year 1942 on the WJ of Lots 12 & 13, Block 6, Edgewood Addition to Vero Beach on which <br />he resides as his homestead. <br />By error or over -sight we failed to allow the claim as filed by Mr. Skinner, although <br />4. he was entitled to same. <br />I respectfully ask that you grant me the authority to make the necessary correction <br />that Mr. Skinner may be allowed the full benefits of homestead exemption on the property de- <br />scribed above for 1942. <br />Yours truly, <br />W. Spencer, Associate Director of the Cooperative <br />Extension Work, Gainesville, Florida, recommending Mr. Marcel Boudet, now in Broward County, <br />as County Agent, effective October 21. Douglas Baker, Clerk, was instructed to advise Mr. <br />Spencer that the Board would approve his recommendation. <br />�w <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined, <br />u <br />and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. Such bills and <br />accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Warrants so issued <br />from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by the <br />rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part <br />of these minuted. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements <br />of the various funds, which having been audited were found to be correct. <br />adjourned. <br />ATTES • <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board then; <br />0 <br />r� <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />
