Gaston Commander <br />i <br />r <br />The Board agreed to cooperate,in every way possible with regard to said resolution in ac - <br />i <br />cord with the views alleged by Mr. Buckingham and Mr. Damerow as to this situation. <br />E. E. Carter, County Engineer, was authorized and instructed to prepare or have prepared <br />a map or maps showing lands acquired on August 14, 1944 by the County under Chapter 22079, laws'' <br />of Florida. <br />Hon. W. R. Duncan, Tax Assessor, appeared before the Board and requested additional time <br />in which to turn over the o3iginal and copies of the 1944 Tax Assessment. Roll. The request was <br />granted as per the following resolution:� <br />'j <br />RESOLUTION <br />Commissioner Albert 0. Helseth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption <br />to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, it is provided by statute that the County Assessor of taxes shall turn over the <br />original and copies of the 1944 tax assessment roll to this board at a meeting to be held on <br />the first Monday in October, 1944, and unless time therefore shall be extended; and, <br />'I <br />WHEREAS, by reason of unavoidable delay in the approval of certain budgets and the certify <br />ing to this Board of certain tax levies, the County Assessor of Taxes did not receive the Coun <br />1 ty tax levy for 1944 in such time that said assessment roll may be presented to this Board at a, <br />meeting on the first Monday in October, 1944; thereftre, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the day for the turning over to this Board of said assessment roll be <br />and it is h rewith extended to November 1, 1944. I <br />j� <br />Upon being duly seconded by G. E.
