=SPAY 6 , 1945 <br />'The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court :.House in Ver( <br />Beaoh, at 10:00 o'clock A. M. Tuesday, March 6, 1945, in regular meeting with the following <br />members of the Board present: W, C. Graves, dr., Chairman: Frank C. Viokers, Albert 4. Relseth, <br />8. E. Glover and R. W. Graves. Also present were E. E. Carter, County Engineer, L. B. O'Steen,"I, <br />Sheriff, Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Notary Public Bond for A. A. Sullivan in the sum of $500.00 with the Metropolitan <br />Casualty Insurance Company of New York as Surity was approved. <br />Sheriff L. B. O'Steen was authorized to'purohase 55 gallons of disinfeotent and 4 <br />sprays for the jail, both to cost approximately $90.00. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, was authorized to purchase deed and mortgage reoords for the <br />Clerk's office. <br />Ronorable Eli C. Walker appeared before the Board and requested that the county cut <br />grass, trees and shrubbery at various road crossings within the county because said trees and <br />shrubbery were obstructing the view of persons driving or riding in motor vehicle. The re- <br />quest was granted and County Engineer E. E. Carter was authorized to proceed with the work. <br />Notary Public Bond for F. D. Bush in the sum of $500.00 with American Surity Company <br />of New York as surity was approved. <br />Notary Public Bond for Charles Br Fulton in the sum of }500.00 with ,American Surity <br />Company of New York as surity was approved. <br />Alice el.leso , County Nurse, appeared before the Board and filed a report of her <br />aottvities for the month of February as follows, to-wit: <br />COUNTY NURSE'S MONTHLY REPORT FOR FEBRUARY, 1945. <br />No. of Welfare Cases Carried this month 12 <br />No. of Persons receiving Grocery orders this month 4 <br />No. of Visits to Welfare Cases 10 <br />No. of Visits in Behalf of Welfare Cases 12 <br />No. of Cases admitted into the hospital 1 <br />No. of Children attending Crippled Childrens Clinic 5 <br />No. of Visits to Crippled Children 6 <br />No. of Visits to Tuberculosis Patients 12 <br />No. of Patients having Chest X-rays 0 <br />No. of Children treated for ear defects 0 <br />No. of Childress Tonsils. removed . 0 <br />No. of Visits to Sohool Children 12 <br />No. of Visits to Presohool Children 6 <br />Po. of Clinic-Bookworm and Immunization 8 <br />No. of Children attending with.
