<br />Pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City of Sebastian at a meeting held the 28th
<br />:day of December, 19459 regarding certain lands being dedicated to the City of Sebastian, said

<br />resolution being on file in the Clerk's Office, the following resolution was adopted.
<br />Commissioner Frank C. Vickers introduced the following resolution and moved it adop
<br />tion as follows9 to -wit:

<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 22079, of the laws of Florida, Indian
<br />;;River County, Florida has acquired title to the lands hereinafter described, and theCity Coune
<br />of the City of Sebastian, Florida, being the governing body of such municipality, and being a
<br />public board of said County, has concurred in and requested, by proper resolution, the dedica-
<br />ition to public use and purposes of the lands hereinafter described by the Board of County Com-
<br />missioners of said County; and the same having been duly considered by said Board of County
<br />,Commissioners; therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County9 Flori
<br />i
<br />da, does hereby dedicate to public use and purposes the lands hereinafter described, situated in
<br />ii
<br />Indian River County, Florida, to -wit:

<br />E line of La. Ave., (100 ft.) thence Sly along E line of La. Ave. 90 ft. thence Ely at right

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said lands shall not hereafter be assessed for taxes so
<br />long as the same remain dedicated or devoted to public use; that a certified copy of this Reso-
<br />lution be delivered to the County Assessor of Taxes of said County, in order that he may so
<br />;Oxempt tai.d lands from taxes; that a certified copy hereof be delivered to the City Tax -Assessor;!'

<br />TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY9 FLORIDA:
<br />Pursuant to Chapter 22870, Acts of the Florida Legislature session of"19459 the City
<br />of Vero Beach9 Florida, represents that it has been the owner in fee simple at all 'times subse- p
<br />fluent to January 9, 1942, of property situated in Indian River County,'Florida, described as fol
<br />lows, to -wit:
<br />Lots 2, 39 4, and 5 in Block 2 of Edgewood Addition, in the City of Vero Beach, as per recorded
<br />plat thereof;
<br />subject only to such rights as may have been acquired therein by Indian River County, Florida,
<br />under and by virtue of the provisions of Chapter 220799 Acts of the Legislature of 1943; that
<br />conveyance of said property is represented by Deed from S. N. Smith, Sr., as Special baster in
<br />Chancery, as grantor, to the City of Vero Beach as Grantee, dated January 9, 1942, and duly ac-
<br />knowledged by the Grantor on said date and on said date delivered to the City of Vero Beach and
<br />which Deed is recorded in Deed Book 32, at page 565, public records of Indian River County,
<br />Florida.
<br />That the name and address of the owner of said property prior to the acquisition of
<br />title thereto by said County under said Chapter 22079, is the City of Vero Beach, Vero Beach.,
<br />Florida.
<br />That the date of the Final Decree under which the title to said lands was quieted in
<br />Indian River County is April 16, 1945.
