<br />The following resolution was introduced by Commissioner R. M. Craves who moved its
<br />adoption as follows to -wit:
<br />M`OSORI TO RESOLUTION
<br />BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River Gouat y,Florida,
<br />being the governing body of the said county, requests the United States Navy to use D.D.T.
<br />solution or mixture dispersed by plane or otherwise for the control of mosquitoes and mosquito
<br />^larvae in Indian River County, Florida, and is accord with the program followed by the United
<br />States Navy in such area in the mosquito season of 1945•
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Clerk zW this Board forward a certified copy aft.this
<br />Resolution to the Commanding Officer of the United States Navy Air Station at Vero Beach,
<br />Florida.
<br />The Board proceeded to and did' -'-name and select the following persons as inspectors
<br />and Clerk of election of the various precincts to hold and conduct the second primary election

<br />`WHEREAS, said Chapter provides that when said monies have been transmitted *to the
<br />County Commissioners, the said County Commissioners may determine and authorize the conversion

<br />of said monies into the county school fund and other lawfully authorized funds; and,

<br />WHEREAS,, The Board of County Commissioners has heretofore agreed for the conversion
<br />of portions of said monies into the county school fund aad.hhas budgeted portions of said monies]
<br />for the use . of certain funds under the control of the County Commissioners; therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED That pursuant to the recitals hereof the sum of 647,500.00 of said

<br />monies is herewith converted to the county school fund and the Clerk and Chairman of this Board]
<br />,I
<br />are herewith authorized and directed to transfer said sum of $47,500.00 to the Board of Public
<br />,Instruction of Indian River County for the use and benefit of county school Rand and to pre-
<br />pare, execute and deliver such warrant or warrants as shall be necessary for such purpose;that
<br />the remainder of said monies, .namely, the sum of $47,500.00, shall be converted and deposited is
<br />to the credit of the various lawfully authorized fundis of this Board in an amount equal to the
<br />proportion of said monies heretofore budgeted to said funds by this Board. iJ
