<br />The motion for adoption was duly seconded by Commissioner/Graves, and udanimdub,17t
<br />Commissioner R. W. Graves introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption,
<br />to -wit:
<br />WHEREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and levy
<br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed
<br />such tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered the
<br />same and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved that;
<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Public
<br />Schools of the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers and repair school hous
<br />Land busses as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of $271,940.25, it
<br />'is determined and hereby declared that a tax tate of 4.5 -mills upon the #Iar be levied, asses
<br />lied and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River on the first day
<br />of January, 1946. id
