On motion made by Commissioner Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Helseth and unani- lmously carried, the monthly payment to the Indian River Hospital was increased.$25.00 per month,1' i.e., from $150 to $175 per month. I, It was ordered to pay election officials, Deputy Sheriffs and rentals on buildings ti'in which the election was held on the following basis: $8.00 per day for election officials Plus $2.00abdmilage for the person delivering the ballot box. $6.00 -per day for Deputy Sheriffs and $3.00 per day for rental on voting places. W. Cobb who regigned. The matter of an exhibit from Indian River County to the Tampa fair was rejected by the Board. On motion made by R. W. Graves, seconded by S. E. Glover and unanimously carried the salary of Mr. C. E. Strait was increased $25.00 per month' i.e., $125 to $150 per month. j Chairman Graves was instructed by the Board to sign a Bahamian labor pay -roll for the;l i� foreign labor for the proper time between this date and the next meeting.
