Request to Speak from Lange Sykes Regarding Oslo Boat <br />Ramp Expansion Project 18 <br />(Clerk's Note: This item was heard following Item 14.D.1. <br />and is placed here for continuity). <br />Lange Sykes, 836 Riomar Drive, presented a video <br />showing fish recruitment canals and the existing <br />seagrass beds within the proposed dredging site, and <br />urged the Board to stop the Project. <br />The Board discussed with Mr. Sykes, the ditches/dikes <br />at the site; the muck/sand in the proposed dredging site; <br />the seagrass; the run-off from the current road and <br />parking area; the shallowness of the launch area; the <br />scope of the Project; and the juvenile fish recruitment <br />site. <br />3:55 p.m. 6.
