<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House in
<br />Vero Beach, Florida, at l0sOO o'clock A. fid., Saturday, January 18, 1947, in sp ecial meeting
<br />0hairman;
<br />jwith the following members of the Board presents W. C. Graves, Jr -4 .Albert 0. Helseth, and
<br />IS. E. Glover. Absent: Prank C. Vickers and R. W. Graves. Also present were Charles A.
<br />!i Mitchell, Attorney; and Douglas Baker, Clerk.
<br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of approving
<br />County official bonds and such other business as might be properly brought before this Board.
<br />Additional bond of Chairman County Board of Public Instruction for Ruth D. Schumann
<br />in the sum of $29000.00 with U. S. Fidelity and Guaranty Company as surety was approved.
<br />Notary Public bond for S. N. Smith in the sum of $500.00 with American Surety Compact
<br />of New York as surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court on January 8, 1947 :as
<br />is provided by law.
<br />Notary Public Bond in the sum of $500.00 for Charles S. Kuster with St. Paul Zwoury
<br />'NIndemnity Company as surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court, January 10,

<br />Notary Public Bond in the sum of $500.00 for Lilias • Mier with St. Paul Mwcury Indem- A
<br />pity Company as surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court,- January 17, 1947,

<br />The Board of Coiunty Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House in
<br />Vero Beach, Florida, at lb:00 AL. M., Tuesday, February 49 1947, in regular meeting with the
<br />following members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Frank C. Vickers, R. W.
<br />Graves, S. E. Glover, and'Albert 0. Helseth. Also present were Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney;
<br />L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff; E. E. Carter, County Engineer, and Douglas Baker, Clerk.
<br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
<br />Notary Public Bond of Alta Graves in the sum of $500.00 with American Surety Company
<br />of New York as Surety was approved by Douglas Baker, Clerk,' on January 239 19479 as provided
<br />by law.
<br />County Deed No.1253 was signed by the members of the. Board according to Chapter
<br />220799 Acts of 1943.
<br />The following was appointed Deputy Sheriff by L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff, and Douglas
<br />Baker, Clerk announced that said appointment had been filed with him.
