A. Boudet, County Aggat;, appeared before the Board with regard to obtaining ap- <br />proximately 20 acres from the County in behalf of the 4-H Club for a forrestry project with <br />the idea of planting pine, mahogany, fir and other trees. <br />Commissioner R. W. Graves introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption <br />as follows, to wits <br />RAS 0 LtJ�I 0 N <br />WHEREAS, the Vero Beach 4-H Club is composed of young people who are residents of <br />Indian River County and who are engaged in the study .of agriculture and allied subjects under <br />the direction of the County Agent and in connection with the public education of such young <br />r li <br />people; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Vero Beach 4-H Club has requested that the Board of County Commissioners <br />set aside for a period of 20 years a 20 acre tract of land owned by Indian River County and �I <br />for use by such 4-H Club in the development of a Forrestry project; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners does herewith set aside property, <br />'�situated in Indian River County, Florida described as follows, to -wit: <br />The West 20 acres of the Southwest of the Northeast in Section 119 <br />Township 33 South, Range 39 East. <br />for the exclusive use of the Vero Beach 4-H Club for a period of 20 years next after this <br />Jdate in the carrying on by such Club -of such. Forrestry project. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board reserves the right to revoke.this Resolution <br />and the privilege of the use of such property at such time as it may determine in conjuction <br />with the person or persons supervising and in charge of the activities of such 4-H flub or upon <br />its own action in the event such 4-H Club should be disbanded or its activities be discontinued, <br />Motion for the adoption of the said Resolution was seconded by Commissioner Helseth <br />and unanimously adopted. <br />The following letterawas�received from Mr., E: G.
