Hammond (Vero Beach Hotel) to sell intoxicating liquorsq wines, and beers was <br />ed, and after carefully considering the same on motion trades seconded and carried, the sam' <br />iwas approved. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited' were examined' <br />and found corrects were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same.' Such bills and <br />accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Warrants,so issued <br />from the respective funds being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book, as provided by the <br />rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its.*onthly statement, showing receipts and disbursements <br />of the various funds, which having been audited were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business 'on motion made seconded, and carried, the Board ad- <br />journed until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Tuesdays May 20, 1947, in regular adjourned meeting with <br />�M the following members of the Board present: <br />W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Albert 0. Helseth' <br />J. L. Helpling, and Frank C. Vickers. Absent: <br />Commissioner Glover. Also present ward Charles <br />A. Mitchell, Attorney; Alice Hellesos County Nurse; and Douglas Bakers Clerk. <br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was being held for the purpose of ,further dts- <br />cussing the County Health Unit and such other business as might be properly brought before this <br />Board. <br />Dr. George DAM810 State Board of Health Officials also Mr. Qu1#9local representative <br />of the State Board of Health together with Mrs.Cleo Cla <br />2 g appeared before the Board and Dr. <br />DW_® suggested funds equal to 75¢ per capita of population based,on the 1945 State census which <br />would be approximately$6,$00.00 which is the amount required to be furnished by India River <br />County, and that the State would furnish approximately $99647.00 aggregating $169455.00= <br />Dr. DM@ furnished much additional information as to setting up the units and after <br />11 <br />Ileareful considerations it was moved by Commissioner Helseth seconded by Commissioner Helpling <br />and unanimously carried that Iridian River County Wafted to establish a Health 'Unit and approved <br />funds equal to 75¢ per capita, and that said unit should become effective in the earliest pos- <br />sible and convenient date from July 1, 1947, to October 1s 19479 as designated by State Board <br />�of Health. Said action was taken pursuant to resolution adopted by this Board relating to the <br />Health Unit as of January 79 1947• <br />Notary Public Bond.for Welter,A. Siewert in the sum of $500.00 with American Surety <br />Igompany of New York as surety was approved May 109 19472 by Douglas Bakers Clerk Circuit Courts <br />as provided by law. <br />County Deeds Nod. 263A to both ihol.usive were signed by the Board as provided <br />(;Chapter No. 22079, Apts of 1943. <br />C <br />Bond for Warren Zeuch, Member of the State Welfare Board in the sum of $102000.00 <br />I <br />1with Travelers Indemnity Company of Hartford2Connecticut2 as surety was approved. <br />i <br />Charles A.
